Top Management Consortium Foundation (TMCF) is registered Under Bombay Public Trust Act Reg. No. : E-8592/Pune Dt. 03.08.2019. TMCF was founded by Late Shri S P Malhotra and Late Shri Bahri Malhotra in 1985 and it was restructured from the erstwhile Top Management Club on the initiative of Late Shri B. G. Deshmukh, the then Hon’ble Chief Secretary, Government of Maharashtra and Dr. Mohan Dharia, Former Union Minister, Government of India at the behest of Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi the then Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.
TMCF is a humanitarian and social service organisation located in Pune and is the first and perhaps the only platform of its kind in our country, which plays a role to connect the various diverse citizens and organisations in our society for a mutually fulfilling and beneficial relationship.
It would not be out of place to mention here that TMCF is not a grievance cell but on the contrary is a unique organisation which aims to motivate and encourage the top functionaries from across the society to work together and solve various issues affecting them as individuals and their organisations.
In its new role TMCF has taken up the role of being a think tank to address issues related to the city of Pune such as City Mobility, Traffic, Infrastructure, Environment and others to bring together experts, authorities, citizens and find solutions to these issues through participation and get these implemented through joint participation. This initiative will require to put together a team of research associates along with a team to engage on ground with govt bodies, corporates and citizens to deliberate, discuss and agree on the projects to be implemented through joint participation.
In recognition of the fact that “Excellence” and “Quest for Excellence” are the essential components for our society’s and our countries progress, the TMCF has been bestowing “Awards of Excellence” every year since 1990, to illustrious citizens who have made a meaningful contribution towards their society and city as well as to our country in their respective fields of work.
These awards are finalized by an eminent jury through a process of evaluation and validation of the credentials of nominees identified for each category. These awards cover excellence in the fields of Sports, Arts & Culture, Entrepreneurship, Medicine and Science along with Lifetime Achievement across all fields.
